Who on earth cares what we have to say?

Lights a tiny candle
For a moment things don’t seem as dark
Must have figured something out
To get such reassurance now

What the future holds
Where the past has gone
I don’t know, they’re both so far away
The present now unfolds
How grateful I’ve become
To find this kindness today

Shameful TV
Such blatant disregard covering the battleground
Hate is easy - love is harder
Balance nowhere to be found
Insult trading, antisocial media
Except for what you passed along
Must have offered something good
To actually be understood
As anything resembling a song
